Go On a Luxury Safari in Tanzania and Rwanda

Are you planning to take a luxury safari in East Africa? My family and I decided to visit Tanzania and Rwanda on August 2020 and it was very difficult time of Covid-19. During the start of the safari planning we wanted to do a one-week safari and staying in premium lodges and Singita game lodges and exclusive camps were our choice to stay.

But on research about these lodges we found that they can offer the same services in Rwanda, and this country is famously known for mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park and you can experience gorilla safari holiday.

We later decided to do a combined trip in Tanzania and Rwanda and we contacted Eco Tours Rwanda requesting a package of that type. We received the reply to our first email with well detailed 10 Day Luxury Tanzania Rwanda Safari from their travel consultant (Moses) and we felt 100% comfortable, as we could tell this company has been organizing tours for a very long time.

Moses was so fast and positively comprehensive to our changes and changes to the itineraries were handled with ease. Though, this is hard to arrange a successful premium tour, this company made it for us. We changed our plans several times and finally Moses found a great option for us of staying in Singita Serengeti lodge and then Kwitonda Lodge or Kataza House. Moses organized a premium tour with visit of Serengeti National Park with the 03 nights stay at Mara River Tented Lodge in Lamai and here you will have exclusive view of the great wildebeest migration and after stayed at Sabora Tented Camp in Grumeti – Tanzania for 3 nights and thereafter, visit Kigali and Volcanoes National Park.

While on your premium tour in Serengeti and staying at Singita lodges and exclusive camps you will have it all, from the astonishing staying in balcony rooms offering the undulating view of the park. Take scenic photographic game drives and walking safaris. Enjoy the indoor activities like wellness, wine experience, swimming among others.

We enjoyed our safari because on arrival the Gran Melia Arusha Hotel picked us for an overnight stay and then on the next day, we took the Grumeti Air charter to the Lamai airstrip and then transferred to Singita Mara Tented Camp. Later back to Kilimanjaro we took the same flight and board our flight to Kigali International Airport, drive to Volcanoes where we had the amazing gorilla experience in the park.

From the first day in Rwanda, when we met our driver who was supposed to accompany us every day, we felt comfortably, incredibly friendly and very funny with him.

Every day we enjoyed our trip with him, with many a discussion about Rwanda culture and traditions. He was never even a minute late. Always fresh and cheerful in the morning and beautifully dressed. And with a smile on his face.

I hope that someday we will have another opportunity to visit East Africa including Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda again – and we would love to do some great wildebeest game viewing and hiking in the Serengeti, Virunga and Bwindi mountains, and sure, visit the big gorillas and other monkeys.

Therefore, I want to say that when you travel with Eco Tours Rwanda you will never go wrong – this is a highly professional but friendly company that goes the extra mile to make sure you have an amazing experience in these beautiful and green countries Tanzania and Rwanda.
